For centuries, the Common Table Prayer “Come, Lord Jesus” has been prayed in countless Lutheran and many other Christian homes in Germany, the United States, Australia, and elsewhere. It invites Jesus to join us as a guest at the table so that he might bless the food that he himself has provided.
