Managing Editor Appreciation

As announced, Virgil (Bud) Thompson is stepping down from the essential job of being LQ’s Managing Editor after doing it, quietly and splendidly, from the beginning and for thirty-seven years.

The LQ Board of Directors, Editorial Staff, Council of Editorial Advisors, and all authors and readers owe him even more than they know, from proof-reading to the daily business and very existence of this journal.

One of Bud’s final tasks is to complete the transition to his successor Nick Hopman, who has been his Associate Managing Editor for two years.

Visitors to our website are invited to express their appreciation here, for presentation to Thompson at the April 2024 meeting of LQ Inc.
