Promisio interview between Mattes and Silcock

Promissio

In this Lutheran Quarterly Book Talk, Mark Mattes interviews Jeff Silcock about his translation from German to English of Oswald Bayer’s book “Promissio”.

In his book “Promissio”, Oswald Bayer traces Luther’s development from a monk to a reformer, noting along the way significant events that changed his beliefs to what we know today as Lutheran theology.
